Work Placements
(Carole Hands, Sarah Washington and Lindsey Brookes)
Through its links with a range of businesses and training providers Walsall EBP Staff can identify work placements for students to support curriculum requirements.
These can be:
- A one or two day per week placement (Business Insight)
- A one or two week block
- Tailored to suit
Longer term placements could generate Units towards an NVQ or other qualification.
Walsall EBP will interview the young person, to assess suitability for the placement offered, and then identify and arrange a placement including carrying out a full Health & Safety check.
