Walsall EBP involves young people in a range of programmes and activities that are designed to:
1) Support the curriculum
2) Raise motivation levels
3) Develop employability skills and
4) Provide experiences of the world of work.
To achieve these aims we rely on the help and support of local employers who have recognised the benefits which accrue from working in partnership with local schools. Members of the Walsall EBP team regularly contact and visit new companies to enlist their support and involvement.
Support needed includes:
1) Providing work experience placements for students
2) Providing practice interview experience to Year 11 students
3) Being a business supporter at an Enterprise Challenge event
4) Hosting a teacher for a day so that they can learn about your business
5) Mentoring a Year 11 student to help them achieve their potential
