This work experience database (which is password protected) is part of the comprehensive work experience support service that Walsall EBP provides for Walsall secondary schools covering:
Pre-16 work placements
Post-16 work placements
Extended work placements
The services offered to schools include:
1) Checking work experience placements on behalf of the schools for current, valid Employer's Liability Insurance and Health and Safety using NEBOSH qualified and experienced staff;
2) Providing ongoing consultancy / advice to schools on issues relating to work experience;
3) Arranging termly development meetings for work experience coordinators;
4) Identifying and meeting school training needs for work experience;
5) Compiling and submitting work experience statistical returns to LSC, DfES and others;
6) Maintaining, updating and providing access to Job Activity / Risk Assessment database.
