Partnership News

John Price, Manager, and Jane Antill, Chair,Walsall EBP receiving the National EBP Network Quality Award from Angela Wright, Chair and Declan Swan, Chief Executive, National EBP Network at the recent Awards ceremony in London.
"Top Quality and that's Official!"

Following the production of a portfolio of evidence, the completion of a self evaluation process and a visit from a team of external assessors Walsall EBP was recently reaccredited as a holder of the National EBP Network Quality Award with one of the highest marks recorded across the country.

The assessors identified the following areas of good practice: "The visiting team were particularly impressed by the careful, well planned management of Walsall EBP, which has enabled it to thrive during a period of significant upheaval. It is clearly an EBP which "does the business" and respected for that by its clients. It also plays a key role, as opposed to a bit part, within education and economic partnership in the locality. After a period of budget reductions additional funding from several sources should add to its strength.Walsall EBP meets the accreditation criteria with distinction."

Jane Antill, Chair,Walsall EBP receiving the National EBP Network 'Partnership of the Year Award 2006' from Ian Hughes at DfES, who sponsored the Award.

The Quality Award was presented to Walsall EBP at the National EBP Network National Conference in London.

At the same event Walsall EBP were also presented with the prestigious 'Partnership of the Year Award 2006' in recognition of the work and contribution of Jane Antill as Walsall EBP Chair over the last 12 years.
